Hope your not waiting for me. I've given out more *free* tips than I can
count. Obligitory tip: set the adaptive theshold to 16 rather than the
default of 8. This speeds things up and usually has no big negative impact.
The default was set to 8 so that inexperienced users would not have to
worry so much about aliasing artifacts.
